New Furniture for Sasha to fill her home with comfort and love

Posted Sep 8, 2024
Sasha recently obtained new employment that allowed her to reach her goal of no longer qualifying for benefits. With this achievement, Sasha and her little family moved to a new, bigger apartment that would allow them to grow. However, as Sasha is getting out of receiving system benefits, she is having to start over with home goods and furniture. Sasha will be moving into her new home in the next few weeks and is attempting to coordinate her paychecks with some additional support to fill her new space. She does not want herself and her babies to live in an empty home for too long. To get support with funds for furniture will allow Sasha to not only provide stability for her family, but it will allow them to make their own memories with items they picked out. Any help during this difficult transition would mean the world to Sasha and her family.

Sasha is 24 years old and lives in CA

Sasha is a social worker by nature. Having entered foster care when she was a teenager, Sasha navigated a multitude of intense challenges. While these challenges were extremely difficult, Sasha now uses her experience with drug addiction, human trafficking and foster care as her strengths. Sasha will be the first to tell you that there was a certain point on her journey that she did not care what happened to her body or her safety. She had to work extremely hard to get off the streets, find a loving relationship she could trust and begin building a safe and secure life for herself. Sasha graduated High School in 2022, the same year she gave birth to her first baby. Soon after, Sasha started college in pursuit of an Alcohol and Drug certificate. Her goals at the time were to get as little education as possible so that she could enter the social work field and start using her experiences to support others. After a few classes however, Sasha decided a certificate wouldn't be enough and so she decided to pursue her BA in Social Work. Sasha is on her way to transfer from Community College to a 4-year institution. She also recently met her goal of becoming someone who no longer qualifies for benefits as she got a job with the county serving folks like her who have been human trafficked. Sasha loves her babies, both biological and adoptive, and puts lots of love and energy into insuring they get a happy and worry-free life. Sasha is sassy, silly and hilarious. She is also one of the most honest individuals you will ever meet. Sasha is dedicated, determined and a warm light that brightens whoever gets to interact with her.
