Keyri has a smile that can light up a room and loves school, especially reading, English, and art. Keyri has a new-found love of basketball which is a great outlet for all of her energy. And she is almost as tall as her mom already! She loves to draw and create art, and even had her drawings exhibited recently in a community art show. Keyri and her mom have lived for 2 years in a single room in a boarding house before entering into transitional housing. Even though she’s so young, she tells her mom that she knows she can’t afford to buy her the brand-name clothes, shoes and gear that her classmates have.

Keyri started playing basketball at Y camp this summer and loves it! She's hoping to continue playing throughout the school year and needs basketball shoes. Keyri loves all things pink, white, blue, and purple and hopes to rock out on the court in a comfortable pair of shoes!
