Due to the loss of her primary caregiver, Nyjalita would greatly benefit from a gift card to purchase essential clothing items. Her unexpected transition to foster care means she needs new clothes to fit her immediate needs. Nyjalita washes her clothes every three days due to the lack of clothing for her. There is a possibility that she may not be able to attain clothing from her previous home. Nyjalita has not asked for new clothing, even though it is a need. She is not a teen to request items for herself, but she clearly needs more clothing.

Nyjalita was placed in foster care after her primary caregiver, her paternal grandfather, was hospitalized and is expected to pass away. Prior to this, she was raised believing her grandfather was her birth father, as her biological parents abandoned her at a young age. Despite the hardships she has faced in her young life, Nyjalita remains a friendly young lady who listens to others. In her foster home, she is thriving and making friends with her peers at school.
