Edmund doesn't have the opportunity to eat out with his family very often. For his birthday, what he really wants is for his family to sit down for a meal together. Unfortunately, the financial aspect of making this wish come true is not possible for his mother. This is something he truly wants to do for his 17th birthday. Granting this wish will allow him to surprise his family with his birthday request to enjoy a family meal.

Edmund is a sweet boy who lost his father at a young age. He has been in foster care and has experienced homelessness. His mother has to work a lot to pay the bills, so Edmund spends most of his time at home. He enjoys playing sports and works hard to try to keep his grades up.
