Assistance with electric bill payment for Taylor who is facing financial difficulties

Posted Sep 9, 2024
Taylor is a single mother of three who is currently navigating the challenges of trauma that have resulted in mental health issues. She is actively pursuing counseling while striving to manage her responsibilities as a single parent. Currently her children's father, her partner since high school was recently in a car accident that left him in with a compromised lifestyle. He is unable to walk or talk and in a nursing home. Despite her efforts to cope independently, she is encountering financial difficulties, including late utility payments, medical bills and other obligations stemming from her partner's coma. As a result, she has fallen behind on several payments and is seeking assistance to regain stability. Recently, she secured a good job, and with her children now back in school and no daycare expenses, she is able to work longer hours. Receiving support would enable her to maintain essential services, such as electricity, which is at risk of disconnection.

Taylor is a young single mother who enjoys spending time with her children. She and her children have experienced homelessness. Despite this she is trying to do her best. Some of the things they enjoy include taking nature walks. She enjoys physiology and watching world news.
