Maliya has been living in her foster home for about two years now. During this time, she has shown significant growth. When she first arrived, she had to switch schools due to the relocation. Initially, she struggled to adjust and was not actively involved in school activities, often going straight home after classes. However, she has blossomed since then. Maliya has made new friends, invited them over to her home, and has started going out with them. Having another peer her age in the home has encouraged her to step out of her comfort zone. This fall, Maliya is looking forward to visiting the pumpkin patch with her friends. She is thrilled about getting a funnel cake, bouncing on the "pillows," and going on the hayrack ride.
