Estrella has recently joined an Independent Living Program. She has been looking after her siblings for a long time, even before joining this program. Despite her best efforts to keep the family together, she eventually found herself unable to handle the responsibility of parenting. She was responsible for taking care of her 5 siblings every day. Her mother prioritized her lifestyle over the well-being of her children. Estrella has been offered the opportunity to live independently and is now working part-time while also focusing on her mental health.
