Qamar is currently living out of his car and hoping for stable housing. Even though things are tough right now, he still dreams of opening his own mechanic shop. He is super good at fixing up cars and selling them, and he’s also going to college to learn more about cars and business. He’s taking care of himself by getting help for his anxiety and depression, too. Qamar is a thoughtful person who’s really dedicated to making his dreams come true.

Qamar recently left his shelter because of conflicts with other residents and did not feel safe anymore. He is now living in his car and does not want to return to a shelter. Right now, he is a college student and is searching for on-campus jobs so that he can start saving money to get his own studio apartment. Qamar currently has no income and needs gas to get to school. An Arco prepaid gas card would be very helpful while he gets assistance getting transportation funds that could take one to two months to process.
