Alex's ability to leave his home and socialize with other teens is limited. He is eager to go to the recreation center to improve his health and interact with others. However, his family cannot afford to help him access the recreation center, and he would greatly benefit from being able to take advantage of all the center has to offer.
Alex is 16 years old and lives in CO
Alex has self-identified goals of returning to school and increasing his health and fitness. Despite numerous challenges and difficulties, he's always maintained a positive attitude and he always gets along well with others. In addition to fitness, he's a big fantasy and sci-fi fan, and he loves to talk for hours about his favorite movies and books. Naturally, he hopes to one day visit New Zealand to see where they filmed The Lord of the Rings.
