Despite being the only child in her foster home, she has shown incredible resilience and a vibrant spirit. A simple playhouse could provide Dakota with a much-needed refuge, a place where she can escape into her imagination and experience moments of pure joy. It's heartbreaking to think of the opportunities she's missed, but providing her with a playhouse could be a small step in helping her find happiness and hope in her daily life.
Dakota is 1 year old and lives in CA
Dakota has been in foster care since birth however she has found her forever home and is in the process of being adopted by her current resource family who she has built an inseparable bond with. Her resource family is all she knows and whom she considers her family, and she feels safe with them. She is a happy, smart, caring, and lovable toddler. She has brought so much joy and laughter into her resource home. Despite her young age, if Dakota sees someone upset, she will walk over to give them a hug.
