Darius would like an e-bike motor kit to turn a regular pedal tricycle into an e-assisted tricycle. Because of his disability (nerve damage to both legs caused by PDCD) he cannot walk more than short distances. He would like this e-motor kit to increase mobility in his legs and allow him to get around more quickly than in his wheelchair. It will also make going for bike rides more enjoyable as he can turn it up or down to have more assistance or get more exercise. Getting around on his own will greatly increase his independence, allow him to get exercise, and and keep him active out in the world.
