A bike for Martayveon to use to commute to school

Posted Sep 24, 2024
Martayveon is a young man with a traumatic past who is currently in foster care. Martayveon was recently placed with his grandmother as a relative placement. Grandma does not have a vehicle and goes to work quite early in the morning, therefore is unable to take him to school. Martayveon is in need of a bike to help with transportation until he is provided bus transportation. Without mitigating the transportation for school, he is at risk for placement disruption.

Martayveon is 15 years old and lives in NE

Martayveon enjoys his school and spending time with his friends. He is in foster care and recently moved in with his grandmother. He is getting involved with more positive peer influences and identifying positive hobbies; Martayveon really thrives in stable environments that provide his structure and safety. He is engaging in therapy to process the trauma he faced prior to foster care. He has two brothers he is also able to spend time with.
