Genevieve is readjusting to life after fleeing an unsafe living environment, leaving many of her belongings behind. In just two weeks, she will start a new job, an Amazon gift card will allow her to purchase the work clothes she needs to make a fresh start. Granting this wish would make the world of difference in helping her feel prepared and confident as she embarks on this new chapter in her life. This request has been split into two wishes to allow for a great shopping trip! This is wish 1 of 2.
Genevieve is 22 years old and lives in OR
Genevieve entered foster care when she was a preteen and aged out of the system after many foster home placements and much tumultuousness. Despite so much change, Genevieve persevered, working and attending college for several semesters as a young adult. Genevieve is currently taking a break from her schooling to stabilize in a new city, where she feels like she will be safer and there will be more work opportunities.
