Beatrice has lived in approximately 10 foster homes since birth. She is just beginning to see progress in the mental health support necessary for her to lead a stable and happy life. Beatrice successfully obtained her GED and subsequently completed a nail technician certificate program. She is currently working toward passing the state exam. Most recently she was living with a supportive resource parent who provided encouragement for Beatrice to succeed. Beatrice is two weeks away from moving into an Independent Living apartment and will be on her own. She is ready for the challenge and understandably quite nervous at the same time.
