Beatrice, a resilient young woman who has endured the instability of foster care and multiple moves, has finally found a permanent home. After years of uncertainty, she's thrilled to have her own apartment. Imagine the joy and relief Beatrice would feel as she walks into her new space, ready to make it her own. A comfortable mattress would be the perfect foundation for her new home, providing a place to rest, relax, and feel safe. Beatrice is 20 years old and lives in NJ
Beatrice has lived in approximately 10 foster homes since birth. She is just beginning to see progress in the mental health support necessary for her to lead a stable and happy life. Beatrice successfully obtained her GED and subsequently completed a nail technician certificate program. She is currently working toward passing the state exam. Most recently she was living with a supportive resource parent who provided encouragement for Beatrice to succeed. Beatrice is two weeks away from moving into an Independent Living apartment and will be on her own. She is ready for the challenge and understandably quite nervous at the same time.
