Kit was born as Xealene but does not like her name as her alcoholic father mistakenly spelled her name wrong. Kit and her younger brother not only had difficulty being under the care of their biological parents but also dealt with abuse from extended family members. Kit is now a non-minor dependent of the court and recently married the one positive person in her life that she has known for ten years since middle school. Kit's husband has been overseas for a few years and Kit is focusing on her education in order to become a yoga instructor.

Kit is a full-time college student who is always studying long hours in order to continue getting straight As in class. Kit does not have a coffee or espresso machine to keep her energized and reported that she has always wanted to have her own coffee bar at home to keep her alert and ready for the day. Kit has found an espresso machine that she would be so happy and excited about. Kit added that she would replace her husband for this espresso machine if she could!
