Jaharria is a determined young woman who walks to school every day, rain or shine. She's outgrown her winter coat and is in need of a new one. With aspirations to find a job in the next month, she'll rely on public transportation to get there. She's on the lookout for a very warm coat as she gets cold easily and will be spending a lot of time walking outside to her school, work, the bus, and more. Jaharria's journey to independence and success is fueled by her determination and resilience.

Jaharria is an amazing young lady who is sweet, articulate, kind, and hard-working. She has been through a lot of struggles within her family that were very difficult for her to experience. Her family's difficulties landed her in foster care, which makes her very sad, but she still remains kind and polite. Despite her tumultuous life thus far, she has a positive outlook on life, is very respectful to adults around her, has an amazing sense of humor, and excels at school. She is incredibly grateful for all the help she receives from those around her and vows to "pay it forward" as an adult.
