Lizzy is excited to be an aide at the nursing home. She knows this is a significant step toward becoming independent. She believes this job will also help her learn important life skills. However, to start working, she needs a pair of black non-slip shoes. Being relieved of this financial burden will allow her to save for her future.

Lizzy is an amazing kid! When she entered foster care as a teen, she didn't speak English yet, but she has been working incredibly hard to adjust. Her efforts have led to remarkable progress in school, and now she’s preparing to start a new job. There’s no doubt that she is on a path to achieve great things!
