Aaliyah is a strong and determined teen who has been through a lot in her life, including challenges in foster care due to abuse and neglect. She has moved between different homes, which has made it tough for her to find stability. Yet, Aaliyah keeps pushing forward and is focused on her dreams! One of her biggest goals is to graduate from high school and eventually go to college. Even though she hasn’t had many positive role models in her life, Aaliyah doesn’t let that get her down. She has a beautiful vision for the future—she wants to become a mentor for other kids in the foster care system. Aaliyah believes that every child needs at least one caring influence to help them thrive, and she’s determined to be that person for others. Her optimism and resilience truly shine through, inspiring everyone around her!
