Kay is facing one of the most challenging times of her life after the recent loss of her beloved father. As she prepares for the upcoming funeral, she finds herself in need of a dressy warm coat to accompany her beautiful black dress. This small gesture would not only complete her outfit but also offer the warmth and comfort she needs as she honors her dad’s memory.
Kay is 5 years old and lives in PA
Kay is a sweet girl who has been a victim of domestic violence. She and her mother had to relocate to escape her abusive father. Despite her young age, Kay is wise beyond her years due to having to be a support system for her mother. She also suffers from anxiety and PTSD. Despite her present situation, Kay is extremely resilient, and given time, she will heal. She just needs the opportunity to be a little girl.
