Julienne is in need of a complete room makeover after the hurricane and flooding devastated her great-aunt’s home, leaving them with only the structure and no furnishings. Julienne, who has Down syndrome, adores mermaids and dreams of having a mermaid-themed room. This makeover would not only restore her living space but also fulfill her wish to feel like a mermaid every day. Please help this sweet girl transform her room into a magical sanctuary where she can feel safe and inspired!
Julienne is 7 years old and lives in VA
Meet Miss Julienne, a bright young lady who suffers from down syndrome and who is in love with mermaids. Julienne lost her dad earlier this year and is currently being raised by her Great Aunt who is on a fixed income. Due to the recent hurricane and flooding Julienne and her Aunt lost all of their items in the home. Due to medications and Julienne's condition it is often hard for her to rest comfortably and when she is upset she does rest well. Julienne loves school, she loves story time, and she has an amazing appetite.
