Alejandra has recently graduated from high school and is now embarking on her college journey. As she transitions into this new chapter, she will be moving into an Independent Living Program (ILP) apartment. In addition to managing her studies, she will also be caring for her young son, which will require her to plan and prepare nutritious meals for him regularly. To help her in the kitchen, Alejandra is looking to build up her collection of essential cooking tools, starting with pots and pans that will enable her to experiment with various recipes. Cooking has always been a passion for her, and she hopes to create a diverse recipe list that includes family favorites and new dishes alike.
Alejandra is 19 years old and lives in GA
Alejandra is a shy and very loving young mom. She is smart and loves going to school. She is attentive of her newborn son and loves spending time watching him develop. Alejandra recently entered foster care and a second chance group home and she is adjusting well so far. Alejandra loves to share her culture and to cook Mexican food.

"Hi, Alejandra! I really hope you enjoy your pots and pans! I became a mom at a young age as well (I was 19) and I had to learn how to cook on my own and it is now one of my favorite things to do!
