Deison entered care when he was just three years old. Both of his parents were struggling, and his mother took it upon herself to contact the police and ask to relinquish the children to foster care. Deison and his siblings have had to move twice while in care, but luckily, they are now in their 'forever home' with family, awaiting adoption. Deison is a fun, kind, caring boy who loves to look after his younger sister. Deison has a twin brother who he cares for a lot as well and they willingly wear the same outfits and share most of their things with each other. Deison is quite the daredevil who thrives on learning new things and being great at everything he does. He taught himself to ride a bicycle and scooter and gets right back up after falling. Deison greets everyone with a smile when he sees them, which lights up the room.

Deison loves using headphones whenever possible due to his hearing deficit and reliance on a hearing aide during most of the day at school. When he gets home, he enjoys the freedom of taking off his hearing aid but finds it challenging to hear as well. Headphones provide him with better sound quality without the need for his hearing aid, enhancing his overall listening experience. In celebration of his upcoming adoption, Deison is excited to plan a trip to Disneyland with his family over the winter break. While they are all thrilled about the adventure, he feels a bit nervous about the six-hour plane ride. To help pass the time during the flight, Deison has decided that over-the-ear headphones will be essential for keeping him entertained with movies and games. He’s eagerly looking forward to this trip, and he believes that these headphones will be the perfect finishing touch to make the long journey more enjoyable, adding to the excitement of the entire experience.
