After the hurricane and subsequent flooding wreaked havoc on her great-aunt’s home, Julienne found herself in urgent need of toiletries. The once lively house now stood as a shell of its former self, stripped bare of furnishings and personal belongings. Julienne, who has Down syndrome, requires essential personal care items to help her regain a sense of normalcy amidst the chaos and loss.
Julienne is 7 years old and lives in VA
Meet Miss Julienne, a bright young lady who suffers from down syndrome and who is in love with mermaids. Julienne lost her dad earlier this year and is currently being raised by her Great Aunt who is on a fixed income. Due to the recent hurricane and flooding Julienne and her Aunt lost all of their items in the home. Due to medications and Julienne's condition it is often hard for her to rest comfortably and when she is upset she does rest well. Julienne loves school, she loves story time, and she has an amazing appetite.
