Tianna is a resilient teenager facing an incredibly challenging time. Her family was recently displaced after her grandmother fell ill and could no longer work, leaving them in a difficult position as they await medical assistance and social security support. Tianna, who lives with PTSD, has been deeply affected by this upheaval, and while she’s working through her trauma in CBT therapy, their recent displacement has been a significant setback. Despite her learning disability, Tianna continues to attend school, but the stress of her situation has made her a target for teasing, and she’s been unable to enjoy the comfort of going outside. Right now, Tianna and her family are in urgent need of essentials—food, clothing, and water—as they work to rebuild their stability.
