Mariah recently moved into a dorm to start her college experience in August, but she struggles with severe anxiety, especially in large crowds or busy places. As a result, she spends most of her time in her dorm, focusing on her studies. Although she loves college, she finds it much more enjoyable when she can stay in quieter areas. Mariah was given a TV to bring with her, but it has distracting rainbows that go across the screen, making it difficult for her to watch. Seeking a more relaxing environment, she has asked for help in getting a new TV so she can create a more peaceful space in her room.

Mariah entered foster care after a family member dropped her and her siblings off at a shelter and never returned. The first year was particularly challenging for her, but she eventually found a supportive family that helped her turn her life around. Since then, Mariah has graduated high school and begun her journey in college, pursuing a degree in criminal justice. Her ultimate goal is to attend law school and become a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) who genuinely advocates for children in the foster care system. With dedication and hard work, she is committed to making her dreams a reality and positively impacting the lives of future foster kids.
