It's not uncommon for him to sit for hours, absorbed in learning and experimenting with everything a science kit has to offer.

Preston is a friendly autistic boy receiving special education services. He has a genuine curiosity about how things work and is interested in science, automobiles, and technology. He is in a foster home with several other children but prefers to do his own thing. Foster parents do not have the financial means to fulfill all their children’s requests.
