Emily has spent most of her life in foster care. For the first few years, she lived in foster homes with her older brother. About two years ago, however, they had to be separated suddenly, and Emily was placed in a foster home with their younger brother. Both Emily and her older brother miss each other very much and have limited contact because her brother is currently in a residential treatment program. Recently, Emily has been able to start having video calls and visits with her brother, which has been wonderful for both of them.
