Jose has been in foster care for several years and has been separated from one of his younger brothers for the past year. With his brother’s birthday approaching, Jose really wants to get him a present. He is invited to his brother’s birthday party and doesn't want to feel left out without a gift. Jose has decided to go to Five Below to choose some items for his brother. He likes Five Below because they have a wide variety of cool items that his brother will love, and everything is affordable! This experience will also help Jose build life skills and gain autonomy as he makes decisions about what to buy. Both Jose and his brother will be excited about the gifts he picks out, which will make his brother’s birthday even more special!
Jose is 15 years old and lives in OH
Jose is a motivated and optimistic young man who has been through many hardships in his life. Jose has made great progress in every area of his life and is now on a path to success. Jose enjoys school and does very well. He enjoys getting to spend time outside and loves to play all different kinds of sports.
