This year has been particularly challenging for Rob. Since leaving his foster home after aging out of care at age 21, Robert has experienced housing instability as he lives with friends from place to place. Despite Robert's motivation and commitment to performing well in his place of employment, he finds commuting challenging when living in a rural community. Most of the job opportunities that could enhance Robert's economic abilities require a vehicle to commute to, which Robert does not have access to. This limits his employment prospects. Robert wishes for an iPad that could expand his access to finding and securing a remote employment opportunity. He chose an iPad in particular so he can spend time doing what he loves most when he is not busy surviving, making and listening to music.

He is the person who would give the shirt off his back for another. You can always find Rob either working hard in his employment position or spending his free time on his passion, making music. Rob's passion for making music directly results from his ability to be resilient throughout adversities. While Robert experienced traumas within his foster homes, he always leaned into music, creative writing, and making instrumental beats as tools to cope with emotional pains. Rob attributes his faith and connection to music as the very aspects of self that have forged his inner strength and resilience.
