Keyvon's first experience with a hoverboard occurred while he was in a group home. He described the exhilaration of the wind blowing in his face and the sense of freedom it gave him, allowing him to clear his mind during stressful times. He dreams of having his own hoverboard so he can continue to enjoy that feeling of liberation whenever he needs to.
Keyvon is 13 years old and lives in WI
Keyvon was abandoned and sent into out-of-home care by his guardian on his birthday. He was sent to live in a group home, where he remained optimistic and determined to be reunited with his mother. Keyvon was recently removed from the group home he's resided in and now has the chance to reunify with his mother. He and his family hope for permanence.
