As a result, she finds herself without the necessary funds to purchase groceries. This gift card will provide her with the immediate support she needs, allowing her to buy essential food items while she awaits the reinstatement of her food stamps. With this assistance, Violet can ensure that she has enough to eat during this difficult time.
Violet is 29 years old and lives in CA
Violet was in the system from 15 to 18 and didn't receive services after she was emancipated, so she decided to take matters into her own hands and put herself back in school to get her diploma. But she didn't stop there! Violet continued to fight for her education and graduated with her Bachelor's degree from CSULB. While at CSULB, Violet did work-study with the Guardian Scholars and loved giving back to the foster youth community. She is hoping to find a career where she is able to work with at-risk youth. Violet is also a small business owner and creates her own handmade moon phase intention-based candles and other goodies. She dreams of going to graduate school for post-secondary education so she can work with Guardian Scholars programs in Community Colleges.
