Rin is living in the metro area as a participant in a semi-assisted living program for Transition-Aged Youth. She graduated high school and is working toward attending college with a plan to major in creative writing. Rin entered DHS care in Georgia at 15 and was moved with a family member to the state of Oregon. However, just a year later, she reentered DHS care. Rin has been in DHS care since. She has lived in 10 different placements before the age of 18. She enjoys playing video games and playing DnD with friends, writing poetry, and reading books.
