Desteny is an inquisitive and kind young woman who aged out of the foster care system and became a mother shortly thereafter. Lacking support and guidance, she unfortunately had to navigate the foster care system with her own child. In her efforts to regain custody of her child, Desteny has recently secured a job and obtained her own apartment. She will need assistance to make her house a home. Once her home is approved, her supervised visits with her child will be transitioned into her apartment.
