Even as a child, Edina set high hopes for herself! Despite being forced to enter foster care at age 12, she always knew she was going to become someone unique, not just another statistic. And she has definitely beat the odds! Today, she is a mother to her sweet daughter. She is currently in school full-time to become a Professional ASL Interpreter while also working on her college campus, connecting former foster youth to academic resources. Her dream is to graduate and travel around the world, providing and teaching sign language to those who are deaf and do not have access to education. In her free time, she loves spending time with family, going to the park, traveling, and learning American Sign Language!
