Finding a sense of safety can be challenging for Shamel. His body often feels overstimulated by new environments, loud noises, and the hustle and bustle of daily activities. To help him feel secure and calm, Shamel frequently seeks a "squeeze" or hug from his caregivers. A sleep pod could provide him with a much-needed sense of safety, allowing him to relax and stay asleep throughout the night.
Shamel is 3 years old and lives in OH
Shamel is a sweet and loving little boy. Shamel has been in foster care since birth. He has been diagnosed with Autism and several delays, but he does not let this slow him down! Shamel is motivated to catch up to peers and tries so hard in his therapies. He continues to make progress each week and even started talking some!
