A special sibling lunch visit for Daniel and his foster family

Posted Nov 11, 2024
Daniel has moved in with a new foster family, and they are all about connections. He recently reconnected with his sister, and they would like to coordinate a special lunch visit. One of Daniel's favorite places to go is McDonald's, and it's also a place that he and his sister would go to during visits. He would love to introduce her to his new family at one of their familiar places for shakes, burgers, and fries!

Daniel is 17 years old and lives in ME

Daniel is an amazing person who loves being around others. He often asks for hugs, tickles, or snuggles on the couch. Additionally, he enjoys when someone reads to him. Although he has lived in residential care for several years and hasn't seen his biological family in some time, he remains incredibly resilient. Daniel has embraced the staff and other residents at his group home as his family. His favorite activity is making them laugh by telling jokes and making silly faces. If there's a camera nearby, he eagerly jumps in front of it, asking for pictures and videos. He loves spending time outdoors, exploring the woods, and splashing in creeks and puddles. Although he occasionally expresses that he misses living in a traditional home, his situation does not diminish his love for life, family, friends, and adventure!
