Ethan has been in his foster home since he was just two weeks old. He is a loving and adventurous little boy with a creative mind. As a sensory-seeking child, he enjoys exploring the world around him, often putting objects in and out of containers. However, Ethan is developmentally behind due to his diagnosis of Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a heart condition identified when he was 20 weeks in the womb. He underwent open heart surgery at three months old, which has significantly impacted his development. Despite these challenges, Ethan began crawling at 13 months and took his first steps at 19 months. To support his growth, he is currently receiving physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), speech therapy, and specialized instruction tailored to his needs.
