With hopeful anticipation, he dreams of a new bed frame that will provide him with a comfortable place to rest each night, a symbol of stability and new beginnings in his fresh chapter of life.
Ziad is 5 years old and lives in NJ
Ziad and his family are refugees from Syria, having embarked on a long journey to start a new life in the United States. Filled with excitement, Ziad eagerly looks forward to learning about his new home and all it has to offer. An energetic and active boy, he enjoys playing soccer and often takes the time to teach his younger brother different games, sharing his passion for fun and play. Together, they embrace their new environment while holding onto the joy of family and the thrill of adventure.
