Along with the physical and emotional toll of this traumatic experience, she is now in urgent need of dental implants, as her teeth were severely damaged during the aneurysm. Granting her this wish would not only aid in her physical recovery but also help restore her confidence and sense of self-worth. This wish will make a profound difference in Katie's journey toward healing and renewal.
Katie is 23 years old and lives in UT
Katie is a super bubbly, warm young woman who just started the nursing program at a four-year school. She is a mentor to other youth in foster care and has participated in many advocacy activities in the state and nationally, she enjoys advocating for those in the foster care system in her free time when she is not in school.
