Maku first came to his now adoptive parents at two days old. Because of his mother's mental state and his father's absence, his adoptive family fought in court for him and won. Maku is a helpful, caring, and talkative boy who loves sports and water games.

Maku's favorite trip was his family's unforgettable vacation to a water park in Oahu. The thrill of zooming down water slides and splashing around in the wave pool filled him with joy, and he often finds himself reminiscing about those sun-soaked days. He loves the idea of bringing some of that water park excitement back home, transforming his backyard into a mini paradise. With his boundless energy and love for the water, Maku wishes for his own water slide so he can spend days splashing, diving, and laughing alongside his friends and family. The thought of playing outside year-round under the warm Hawaiian sun fills him with excitement and anticipation. Each day would be an adventure, filled with imaginative games and the joy of being surrounded by his ohana.
