DeAndre would like a Target gift card to go on a shopping spree for winter clothes, something he’s never had the chance to do on his own. As the weather in Georgia finally starts to get chilly, he’s excited about the opportunity to choose clothes that fit his style and needs for the season. Being able to pick out his winter gear is not just about having warm clothes—it’s about gaining independence and taking pride in providing for himself. This shopping experience would be a huge milestone for DeAndre, helping him feel confident and prepared for the colder months ahead. This request has been split into two wishes to allow for a great shopping trip! This is wish 2 of 2.
DeAndre is 19 years old and lives in GA
DeAndre entered foster care at a young age. He faced challenges that many his age wouldn’t dream of, yet he persevered with an unwavering drive to build a bright future. Despite not yet finding his forever family, DeAndre remains focused on his education. He is a part of the Independent Living Program and works full-time, demonstrating remarkable commitment and responsibility. He dreams of even more actively seeking higher-paying opportunities to secure a place of his own. DeAndre is also exploring the path toward HVAC certification, a step he believes will open doors to a stable, rewarding career.
