K'Miyah has a passion for crafting and working with her hands, finding deep fulfillment in the art of creation. Recently, she received a delightful miniature giraffe Lego set that sparked her imagination, and ever since, she has been on a quest to find more similar sets to expand her collection. The process of assembling pieces and watching them transform into a cohesive whole captivates her, evoking fond memories of her childhood and the joy of building. Among her favorite characters is Stitch from the beloved movie Lilo & Stitch, and she would be absolutely thrilled to receive a Lego set featuring him. The combination of her love for creative construction and her affection for Stitch makes it a perfect match for her interests.
K'Miyah is 19 years old and lives in GA
K'Miyah is a joyful young lady currently living in a transitional living program (TLP) with a dozen other youths who are in extended foster care. She came into care in February 2021 due to circumstances beyond her control and has since lived in various group homes and TLP programs. Initially, this experience caused her to have a bad attitude and act out, but she eventually realized that her behavior wouldn’t change her situation. Since then, she has made a complete turnaround and is now on track, enrolled in school. Her smile is contagious, and she makes friends wherever she goes. K'Miyah enjoys watching movies, playing basketball, and spending time outdoors. Despite all her trials and tribulations, she continues to be a source of light for others.
