Ronan is a dedicated and compassionate young man with dreams of one day attending law school to pursue a career as an attorney. He puts in extra effort by attending after-school tutoring sessions to improve his grades, demonstrating his commitment to his education and future aspirations. However, his walks home can be daunting; as night falls, the streets become shrouded in darkness, leaving him feeling vulnerable and uneasy. To alleviate some of this anxiety and make his daily commute safer and more manageable, Ronan wishes for a bicycle that would allow him to travel to and from school more swiftly and with greater confidence.
Ronan is 16 years old and lives in CA
Ronan entered into foster care after his adoptive father passed away, and he had no one who could care for him. He is extremely articulate and excels at advocating for others. In addition to being well-spoken, Ronan participates in social activism-based activities. He uses his verbal skills to advocate for the equitable treatment of LGBTQ members and minorities on his school campus and within his community. Ronan has delivered speeches formally at school board meetings and informally at the wellness center on his high school campus. He also serves as a Sectional Officer for the local Future Farmers of America while attending high school full-time and working part-time.
