Makaylin just moved into her first apartment and has noticed that there is no fire extinguisher in her kitchen, which is crucial for safety. While she does have smoke alarms installed in her apartment, she lacks a means to put out a fire if one occurs. Since she is living on her own, it's essential for her to have all the necessary fire safety equipment. Moreover, having a fire extinguisher is a state requirement for young people living independently, and she currently does not have a job to afford one.
Makaylin is 17 years old and lives in MO
Makaylin is a struggling older youth trying to become independent on their own. She is working on getting her HISET and would like to continue her education with a degree in criminal justice. She ultimately would like to become a juvenile officer to help other children in care. Makayalin recently moved out on her own in her first apartment and is doing side jobs to make ends meet until she can get on her feet. She is interested in being an influencer on the side as well. Makaylin enjoys spending time at home with her cat, dog, and her foster dogs. She can often be found watching her favorite TV shows and wearing Nike sweats.
