An iPad for Daila to keep in touch with her beloved siblings
Posted Nov 23, 2024
Daila is in a brighter chapter of her life, having recently found a loving family that she adores. After spending over ten years in foster care due to her father's incarceration and her mother's struggles with addiction, Daila has navigated life by growing up quickly, often making mature decisions on her own. With her new family, she finally feels the warmth of a true family dynamic and couldn’t ask for anything more. However, she has a sister living in a foster home and other siblings who reside with relatives. The iPad she once owned, a hand-me-down that had seen better days, recently stopped working, leaving her without a way to connect. Owning a brand-new iPad would brighten her days, allowing her to see her siblings’ faces on FaceTime. This would be a priceless gift this Christmas, especially since she doesn’t have a cellphone. The ability to know they are all okay and to tell them she loves them daily would mean the world to her, reminding her that family is always within reach.
