Jude resides in a group home where her only personal electronic item is a school-issued computer. This limited access to technology leaves her feeling isolated, as she can only connect with others through in-person meetings, making her feel distant from her peers. To foster better communication with her friends at school and to stay in touch with important individuals in her life, including her advocate, Jude is eager to have an iPad. This device would not only enhance her ability to reach out and engage with others but also enrich her social interactions and overall sense of connectedness.
Jude is 16 years old and lives in NC
Jude prefers the pronouns she/her. She is very artistic and full of energy. Jude enjoys doing crafts, making jewelry, and chatting about anything and everything. She loves wearing tie-dye to showcase her LGBTQIA+ pride and enjoys things like dance, softball, and basketball, but art always wins in the end. Sometimes, Jude struggles with communication with peers, but she loves to make others laugh and is very social at school. Jude loves Spiderman, and her favorite musical artist is Tyler the Creator. She does well in school and wants to attend college for Forensic Sciences and be a lawyer one day. Jude has been in foster care for several years and has had little to no contact with her biological family.
