An iPad for Kanjaksha to learn and thrive
Posted Dec 6, 2024
Kanjaksha, affectionately known as KJ, is a bright and eager learner who cherishes the time he spends with his brothers. However, sharing devices has proven to be a challenge, especially since his older siblings often use them for their own downtime and relaxation. This leaves KJ without the access he needs to pursue his interests and educational growth. Diagnosed two years ago with a neurodevelopmental disorder, KJ thrives on alternative learning tools, particularly educational games on a tablet. At school, these games have significantly enriched his reading, writing, and math skills, allowing him to learn in a way that resonates with him. KJ dreams of having his very own iPad at home, which would not only enhance his educational opportunities but also provide him with a personal space to explore and learn at his own pace. An iPad would be the perfect solution, striking a balance between family time and personal development. With Apple’s excellent options for restricting access to inappropriate content, KJ's resource parents would have peace of mind knowing he is safely engaging with educational material. Granting KJ his own iPad would empower him to cultivate his academic abilities while also enjoying cherished moments with his brothers.
