Kayanna is an incredible individual who has recently been reunified with her father, a single parent navigating the challenges of raising a child for the first time. Her journey through foster care was fraught with difficulties, particularly as she struggled to find acceptance for her true identity. Throughout this experience, Kayanna remained deeply connected to her younger sibling, ensuring they stayed in touch after the loss of their mother while in foster care. One of Kayanna's passions is playing Dungeons & Dragons, and she also has a love for music. She actively volunteers at her church, where she helps manage the video, microphones, cameras, and lighting. Occasionally, she and her father perform music together for their congregation. Music holds a special place in Kayanna's heart; she often listens to or plays it as a way to remember her mother and unwind from the stress of everyday life. Despite all her challenges, Kayanna's kindness and politeness shine through in her interactions with others, showcasing her resilient spirit.

"Hi Kayanna, Make lots of beautiful special music with your drum kit! In my 40s started to learn to play the drums, wish I would've started younger. I want to encourage all girls of all ages to play. It can be very therapeutic & healing to get behind the kit. Life is about rythmn, which often changes, so our groove has to. Drums represent that; it's no wonder it can help heal. Wishing You & your family a wonderful holiday, a happy new year, & all the best always! Sticks up & downbeats! "
