While in his resource home, Bahsil has grown to love screen time. Not just for watching TV shows, but mainly for watching educational videos. He has learned his ABC’s, colors and sight words from using the tablet at school and at his resource home. Bahsil is likely being reunited with his 10 siblings and mother by Christmas time. While it will be quite an adjustment, having his own tablet may assist him in feeling a familiar comfort
Bahsil is 4 years old and lives in NJ
Bahsil has been in out of home placement for almost 2 years. He comes from a big family (he is 1 of 10 children). He has an identical twin brother that is in the same placement. Together they have bonded tremendously but they have also developed their own personalities. Bahsil has been learning very quickly while at daycare. He has a love for school and enjoys spending the day with his 3 siblings who attend the same daycare. Bahsil is always smiling. He loves to pick out his own outfits and dress himself.
